Experienced Planning Engineer required to successfully manage the planning process for a prestigious international engineering group. * Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position * Salary & Location: Salary dependant on experience, 25 days Holiday + Pension + healthcare. South East, Kent, Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley, South Ockendon.
The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be responsible for setting the schedule for each project programme with a focus on time management. You will work with the Project Manger to prepare a planning strategy and develop the project execution plan. This will layout the project processes, assigning responsibility to the relevant teams and assigning resource requirements for each phase of the project according to the budget set. As an enthusiastic and able engineer you will review all appropriate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site construction programmes. You will also review these programmes and write reports for the Project Manager for any variance from the agreed schedule. This role would ideally be suited to an engineer who enjoys the challenge and sense of achievement associated with working in on a project basis within a prestigious, growing organisation.
The Candidate: " Experience in material planning and cost scheduling. " Experience with Microsoft Project Planner. " Experience of working with multi-disciplined teams, especially with maintenance and construction disciplines. " Client facing ability. " Ideally will be either apprentice trained or ONC qualified, although all candidates with relevant experience will be considered for the role. " Experience with Primavera P3 would also be looked upon favourably, although not essential.
