NDT Job description.
To Carry out Non destructive testing (NDT), using primarily X-Ray Radiography, Thermography and Ultra sound and other techniques as required of units or assemblies. Work in a small team, prepared to work extended hrs, shifts and off site at short notice. Ability to work on own but seek advice or 2nd opinion where necessary. Medically fit, good sight and be prepared to undergo medicals. A good communicator able to work with staff at all levels and abilities. Be willing to undertake specialist training on and off site to obtain NDT qualification/licenses.
