The Position
As a skilled maintenance technician, the person will be a member of a team of maintenance staff carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to reactive help desk requests. Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out repairs wherever possible. Carry out planned preventive maintenance. Communicate clearly with all levels of personnel, including prompt, clearly written records of the work undertaken. Ensure all key performance indicators and service level agreements are adhered to. Carry out daily tours and repair or report any defects found. Ensure that all logs and paperwork is filled in correctly and kept up to date. Ensure all activities are compliant with statutory health, safety and environmental requirements. Monitoring of work performance and standard. Attainment of customer satisfaction. Client liaison. Support of other teams on site to run the building.
Qualifications
1. A skilled engineer, with a proven track record, and a sound knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical building maintenance.
2. Apprenticeship served and qualified to a minimum of 236 part 1, 2 and part C and 16th edition or a formal mechanical apprenticeship or similar training programme, holding an ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Certificate (M&E) or equivalent
