An international multidisciplinary consultancy firm is looking to recruit Principal Environmental Consultant

Client

An international organization that plans designs and enables, they offer multidisciplinary consultancy all over the world as the problems faced by the clients become more and more complex this company delivers more and more innovative solutions


Job description

As demand for energy related environmental services increases, the client is looking for a Principal Environmental Consultant to grow its energy consultancy team, focusing on environmental consents for energy projects. You will be an experienced consultant who will lead the team addressing environmental consents for energy projects.
You would be based preferably in Glasgow, but Edinburgh will be considered. You will report to the Head of Energy and Regulation and work to develop a range of projects addressing environmental aspects of energy developments. Key areas of business within the team include conventional power stations and renewables projects

Requirements

· Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a masters degree in an environment-related subject
· Experience of Environmental Impact Assessments and consent processes for major energy companies
· It will be an advantage if you have experience of environmental consenting for wind generation
· Experience of strong business growth, work winning and team leadership
· It will be an advantage if you are a member of an appropriate professional institute
· Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without restriction

Remuneration

Package offer includes basic salary of £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
Contributory pension,
Life Insurance,
25 days holiday and a flexible working policy.
