Our client is a leading main contractor with a new project starting in the Edinburgh area. This is a £30 million mixed use development. You will ideally be an experienced Quantity Surveyor and you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. You should have a solid construction background and be looking for a new career challenge with this highly reputable builder. You will likely be responsible for one of the packages - tendering, procurement and cost planning. On top of a competitive basic salary you can expect a car allowance or company car, healthcare, a decent pension scheme and other benefits such as a company bonus scheme. This is a site based role, the company head office is in West Lothian and you can expect projects to typically based in the central belt area. Our client has a UK turnover of circa £650 million, they can offer good training and career progression working for largely blue chip clients. Due to this they have a low staff turnover and this role is very much the result of expansion in the existing commercial team. You will be working as part of a team of 5 commercial staff.
