Our client, one of the leading privately owned construction companies in Scotland requires a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Civil''s team.
Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering division has an annual turnover of between £7 and £10 million and carries out as many as 90 new projects each year. The client base is broad and diverse and includes works for the following:
Local Health Trusts
Ministry of Defence
Network Rail
Allied Distillers Ltd
Management Contractors
Surfacing
The surfacing division was established in 1980 and has developed an enviable reputation for quality and reliability resulting in repeat business from a variety of public bodies. More recently it has diversified from traditional areas such as roads and car parks to associated areas such as sports surfaces.
Petrochemical Civils
The petrochemical civils division was established to undertake work for BP at the Grangemouth in 1987 and its success there has resulted in work with related companies in the area such as Zeneca (I.C.I.) and Forth Ports Authority.
Major Projects
The Major Projects Division is an integral part of the suite of divisions that provide the best possible service for their clients. This is split into two divisions:
Construction – this offer a full range of construction projects for clients such as British Bakers and South Lanarkshire
Sub Contacting – this provides construction work for larger main contractors such as Bovis, Mowlem, HBG, Gleeson and projects include: Morrison''s, B&Q and Braehead Shopping Centre.
