Introduction:
My client is a Leading Marine Engineering company, They specialize in delivering world class Engineering solutions from Initial Design, Build through to Installation, Supplying the Royal Navy along with many other Navies throughout the world, They are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their existing Engineering team. The successful candidate will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer along with a proven background in system design experience in Industrial or marine applications.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a busy drawing office, You will be responsible for Designing and drawing complete electro-hydraulic and Mechanical handling systems for a wide variety of marine-based handling applications.
- This role demands thorough project awareness from initial specification through to final customer acceptance.
- The ideal candidate should have an awareness of Military environmental requirements, including equipment standards for Shock, Noise, Vibration and hazardous areas.
- Responsible for producing high quality drawings using Pro Engineer and 3D computer aided engineering tools.
Applicant Requirements:
- To compliment a flair for problem solving along with innovation, A proven track record with using Pro Engineer or equivalent, Pro/Mechanica computer aided engineering tools with a proven background of creating high quality production drawings is required.
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering Qualification or relevant Apprenticeship along with relevant trade qualification.
- Fully conversant with Pro Engineer or equivalent computer aided engineering tools.
