About the Role:
You will act as a key member of the design team, helping to ensure that projects are delivered within the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client. You will be responsible for undertaking road scheme assessment and design as well as supervising construction projects and contributing to the preparation of tender documents. A key aspect of the role is maintaining good working relationships with clients and supply chain partners. In addition, you will be involved in the supervision and mentoring of graduates, assistant engineers and technicians within the team.
About You:
You will be a recently or nearly Chartered Engineer, or be an Incorporated Engineer with relevant experience. Knowledge of road design standards, specifications and contract conditions is essential, as is experience in producing feasibility and detailed design. You will have experience in contract supervision and report writing and have basic AutoCAD skills.
