Our client is a key contributor to the development of technologies and sustainable solutions for the exploitation of energy resources, working within the onshore, offshore and subsea sectors.
They are seeking a Materials Engineer to work within the Corrosion/Materials section supporting the Subsea and project teams. Responsibilities will include specifying the corrosion protection coating & insulation of pipelines according to specifications, analysing coating subcontractor offers, ensuring that coating subcontractors are capable of performing in accordance with the minimum requirements and supporting projects to establish the Coating Qualification Program.
You will also be involved in material investigations and material selection, supporting the Pipeline Engineers and interfacing with the Project Engineering Department.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and good communication skills both written and verbal.
