They are presently operating a Clients Boiler Plant in Belfast. The Company is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the clients steam plant, its associated distribution systems and the operation of other downstream electrical and mechanical services Including Compressed Air, Water Recovery Systems and Water Treatment.
A vacancy has occurred for a highly motivated technician for the position of Plant Electrician / Technician responsible for the operation and maintenance of the boiler complex and down stream distribution systems on day shift.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the CHP complex, the successful candidate will be a time served electrician, ideally with HV experience, capable of showing initiative and the ability to deal with all situations on a multi-disciplinary level. A detailed knowledge of boiler control equipment and reciprocating engines would be an advantage together with strong customer skills.
The candidate will be at the minimum a time served Electrician, ideally from a marine or power generation background, with the following skills:
Essential:
In depth knowledge of electrical faultfinding techniques.
knowledge of steam boilers
Desirable:
Experience of working in a customer orientated environment.
Experience of working to a ISO quality system
