Contracts Manager - Belfast As Contracts Manager based in Greater Belfast for this large Facilities management Company you will have overall responsibility for ensuring a high quality delivery of all services to the client in line with contractual requirements. As such the position requires a strong understanding of client needs and the possession of necessary skills to manage staff, client and contractor relationships both effectively and successfully. This is a Key account managing all Motorway signage maintenance.
The principle duties will include: · Overall day to day responsibility for the functioning of the contract and the performance of the contract equipment · Responsibility for the management of sub-contractors · Attending site when necessary to advise on technically challenging problems and issues · Attend and minute all progress and contract meetings with the client · Provide reports as requested by the client on a regular basis · Liaise with the Traffic Information and Control Centre (TICC) and the Police Control Room in relation to preventative and corrective maintenance · Liaising with the Account Director, the Client, and the facilities team in order to provide a consistently high level of service · Providing support to the client on additional works and ad hoc projects · Overall responsibility for managing staff on site including completion of appraisals and training plans, conducting grievance and disciplinary hearings, conducting interviews and managing attendance · Completion and submission of performance reports on a monthly basis · Managing the budget for the contract and submitting business plans · Acting as a client interface during external audits · Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction for all services provided · Ad hoc duties commensurate with the position
The successful candidate will: · Be qualified to HNC or BTEC Higher National Certificate level in electronic/telecommunications engineering OR have considerable experience working in a position of responsibility on the motorways · Have good knowledge and understanding of the provision of motorway communications e.g. CCTV/Variable and Electronic Message Signs · Have experience of managing staff and providing services to a client · Have experience of sub-contractor management · Possess the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients and contractors at all levels · Be flexible, proactive and customer focussed · Be deadline focussed and performance driven · Have experience of preparing monthly reports and invoices in relation to service level agreements for both clients and sub-contractors · Be fully conversant in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and Outlook · Experience of using SAP is an advantage · Have good knowledge of health and safety requirements and compliance with these
