SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – LEADING INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY

This is an exciting opportunity for an established and professional Senior Project Manager to drive exceptional client delivery for a Leading International Consultancy. The main challenge will be based around retention and development of existing clients, networking, establishing and promoting a project management “brand” and working with the team to ensure delivery of a quality product.

You will enjoy carrying out a broad range of project management services predominantly across the property and public sector, joining a solid team of 15 people. You will liaise closely with and work alongside senior management to develop the team through a clear strategy and proactive commitment, and take responsibility for the successful management and development of clients.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver, shape and grow the Project Management service in the region to his/her remit. My client have a number of challenging projects that they are currently delivering for developers including theatres, retail, offices, as well as undertaking projects for Public bodies including schools and signature projects.

Responsibilities

This post holder will be responsible for the efficient delivery and development of projects. This will include the management of the construction programme including cost, quality, client outputs and design team delivery.
Overall responsibilities will include:

• Leading a project team in the delivery of client project requirements from inception to completion
• Providing client contact and development of the brief
• Setting up and delivery of good practice PM systems and controls
• Cost plan and project programme management
• Budget Estimating
• Post contract administration
• Tender evaluation

Skills / Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience of Project Management in the property / public sector at a senior level within a consultancy environment is essential
• Knowledge of fundamental PM systems and procedures in the construction industry
• Professional and diligent manner
• Flexible
• Committed to providing a high quality service
• Broad minded
• Good at gaining client confidence
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Good presentation skills
• Team management skills
• IT skills
• Degree/APM are desirable
