Our client, a Joint venture company, is currently working on Northern Ireland's Largest Roads Project, a prestigious, £250m, 3 year project, incorporating the design, build, finance and operation package, consisting of the Newry Bypass, a 12km dual carriageway including 20 structures, Construction of 4 Interchanges on the A1 Between Loughbrickland & Hillsborough, and 20 km of dual carriageway and 20 structures, on the A4, from Dungannon to Ballygawley.
A Quality Control Officer is currently required to take responsibility for all quality management, Interaction with the Design teams, Construction teams, testing contractors, to ensure compliance to design specifications and to manage the certification process and related issues on this £250m project.
The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of Civils Construction, Project management with a thorough understanding of Quality. From a Quality, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a Civils based Resident Engineering background. Experience in large earthworks and road schemes are preferred, but are not essential.
