Leading Electrical installation and control systems company require a technically astute individual to join their team as a Control Systems Design Manager. The company are recognised for their superior ability to manage projects from inception to completion and they are constantly striving to exceed their client's expectations. In this role you will deal with all of the technical aspects relating to the automation and control system manufacturing elements within the company.
The Job:
• To provide technical input into the system design as required including visits to customer sites.
• To produce the required documentation to allow the control system element of each project to be manufactured, including the production of CAD generated wiring diagrams for control panels.
• To prepare/commission equipment off site as may be required.
• To identify potential sources of technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• To instruct, liaise with and assist site personnel as required to ensure on time project completion.
The Person:
• Minimum HNC/ONC qualification in Control /Instrument/Electrical Engineering.
• Able to demonstrate an extensive technical knowledge of control system design.
• Standard Microsoft office applications
• Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial and technical design environment.
• Previous experience of PLC software programming.
• Professional and co-operative, with a 'can do' attitude.
• Team-working within a busy and fast moving customer focused environment.
