Unique opportunity for Chartered Civil Engineer Belfast City Centre - Apply Now shortlisting Soon. CIVIL ENGINEER Our Client is delighted to offer an excellent job opportunity within their Plant & Technical Department for a Civil Engineer. The Role:
Presently seeking an experienced Chartered Civil Engineer who will be required to manage the design and construction of a wide range of civil engineering works associated with project and maintenance activities on the electricity transmission and distribution networks. The post holder will be expected to operate as part of a team and be able to prioritise and manage work to meet demanding deadlines.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to regard customer service as the top priority. You will require a high degree of self-motivation, a willingness to work in a flexible manner and the ability to travel throughout Northern Ireland and beyond as required. It is essential that you possess: - Chartered Civil Engineer status - MEng or BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering or equivalent - Proven track record of the effective management of turnkey contracts - Evidence of a strong commercial background and advanced contract management skills - Practical understanding of CDM regulations and their application - Highly developed communications skills with the ability to influence at all levels - Strong IT skills to include a developed knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project - Sound problem solving capabilities and ability to work to tight deadlines - A current driving licence - Working knowledge of standard terms and conditions of contract - Previous experience of managing design consultants - Working knowledge of major infrastructure projects - A practical understanding of DOE planning process - A high degree of financial awareness and cost control Ideally you should also possess: A competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications will be available to the successful candidate. |
