One of the UK and Ireland's leading Consultancies require a Project Programmer to work on a prestigious design and build road project. This position offers an unrivalled opportunity to join the company when they are embarking on a phase of unprecedented growth. Recently they have been appointed as a client advisor for the A5 Western Transport Corridor, which consists of 88km dual carriageway, which is of strategic importance to infrastructure. You will be a key member of the Major Projects team, you'll be responsible for the programme and resource monitoring of the A5 WTC. It's a crucial remit that will involve reporting design progress and identifying any time and cost implications resulting from changes to work. In addition, you'll participate in meetings with project managers. It'll also be up to you to act as the single point of contact for programming issues for the entire project.
To succeed, you'll need to be a degree-qualified professional with experience of overseeing large highways construction projects. It's essential that you have knowledge of all aspects of project management and Microsoft Project. You'll also be a strong communicator with excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
