Our client requires a Welding Supervisor for a perm position to be based in Blackpool. The client manufactures refuse collection vehicles and are the UK market leader. An opportunity exists at our cab manufacturing plant based in the north west for a supervisory team member in the welding department.
This is a hands on role requiring a unique blend of supervisory skills, in conjunction with the ability to weld and coach others, maintaining quality, production and safety standards.
Job Purpose
To effectively lead and supervise manufacturing teams to ensure that they achieve production targets, maintain high levels of morale/motivation and fully utlise the skills and resources of the team to the optimum level. To enhance company performance and communicate effectively with the team with reference to best practice
Hours Mon Thurs 7.30am 4.30, Fri 7.30am 10.30am
Salary - 21,858

4% contributory pension
The ideal candidate will have Welding experience (qualifications) along with Supervisory experience. The candidate will be supervising around 25 people
