Internal Sales/Applications Engineer.
Our Client is a world leader in the development and application of static mixers and associated technology. They have more than 1,200 customers in every process industry with their clients based in more than 70 countries around the globe.
Our Client has offices strategically situated in the USA, Canada and Germany, as well as through our globally distributed network of agents. Sounds like an exciting company already don’t they!
The Role
You will be part of a small but expanding, successful and very busy team of engineers. Our client exports 60-80% of their specialist mixing system and heat/mass transfer equipment worldwide to every process industry as stated above. They are a dynamic and well established business respected worldwide as the leading provider of their technology.
As part of our planned expansion programme, they require Internal Sales/Applications Engineers to work at their Macclesfield Head Office.
A Chemical/Process Engineer, with previous internal sales experience, duties will include:-
Dealing with customer enquiries, frequently international.
Sizing & selection of equipment.
Preparation of quotations.
Provide technical support to international distributors.
Securing of orders.
Sales order processing.
Occasional attendance at trade exhibitions.
Candidates should be computer literate, hopefully have a good telephone manner and communication skills and enjoy working in a busy technical sales environment.
Salary
£20000 – £24000 (depending on exp.)
full time role working 35 hours per week
