JOB SPECIFICATION: Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager will be working on their own initiative to run the area as their own business, looking to increase gross and net profits by maximising margins. Selling Steam Traps, Industrial Valves, Actuators to industry and construction, design and engineering, chemical and –petro-chemical processing. Will be maintaining an area with key accounts in place. The area is one of five nationally and has an existing client base of key accounts, but the successful candidate will be required to generate and actively pursue new accounts to maintain and grow the area. Will be working from a home office and in the field predominantly, reporting to the Sales Director. This is not a micro-managed role. Will be selling to end users, distributors, engineering contractors, engineering designers and OEM’s.
REQUIREMENTS: Regional Sales Manager
The Ideal candidate will have a degree or similar qualification in Engineering and a proven track record in sales spanning a minimum of five to ten years. . Ideally the candidate will have worked for a steam traps and/or control valves manufacturer or distributor, though those from a marine, pneumatics/hydraulics or actuators background may be considered.
