Projects cover the refurbishment and maintenance sectors predominantly within the social housing and commercial division.
You will be responsible for 2-3 social housing schemes, ranging values from £8 million - £10 million. Working with a team of a Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Site Managers and site staff, Schemes would either be traditionally tendered or negotiated contracts using JCT standard forms or Partnering schemes or NEC forms of contract.
Duties will include:-
All aspects of quantity surveying and general contract administration Preparation of interim applications, cost value reconciliation and reporting Monthly financial reviews, agreement of final accounts, sub contractor procurement and account management. Liasing with the client on all financial matters. Candidate specification :- You will need to be technically skilled and able to work under your own initiative to ensure you fit into this proactive and professional team.
Requirements 5 years related experience within quantity surveying Minimum HNC/HND qualified Ideally you will have knowledge of working within the refurbishment sector specifically on housing refurbishment projects IT Literate Good health and safety knowledge
