Quantity Surveyor Sellafield, Cumbria £35 - 45k + 9% Guaranteed Bonus
My Client is a world class employee-owned management, engineering and development consultancy. They have over 140 offices world wide and engage with every sector of the of the capital projects construction industry.
They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to assist the Senior Surveyor or other defined line manager in the running of a cost consultancy team and subsequent achievement of project and business goals.
The requirement is to support the Divisional Manager in the day to day management of the buildings sector business. Development of health, education and community sectors advice and support to Local /Health Authorities, development of existing clients and acquiring new business particularly in the external market. The provision of advice to clients in developing business cases through to construction of schools, hospitals, defence and other community based projects.
Typical duties; Preparation of standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial statements etc Preparation of tender documents as required by procurement choice (including Bills of Quantities) Examine and analyse tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement Prepare valuations and financial statements; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
Academic, professional qualifications and Experience BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar level degree or vocational qualification Ideally chartered Previous QS employment with quantity surveying experience in build sectors Flexible with travel Willing to go through the governments security process and gain a suitable level of clearance
