Our client is seeking to employ a Project Building Surveyor to be responsible for providing a professional building surveying design and project management function in relation to construction project work. This work includes planned maintenance, refurbishment and new works within a mixed portfolio of building types.
As Project Building Surveyor you will be responsible for taking the initial client brief, designing appropriate and cost effect design solutions, planning and programming works and procurement. The successful applicant will also be responsible for providing a project management function to the jobs under their responsibility and taking project through to a satisfactory conclusion. In addition the applicant will ensure that a positive health and safety culture is fostered on all projects.
Applicants will be qualified to at least HND level in a Construction related discipline preferably holding a first degree and be professionally qualified to MRICS or MCIOB. Candidates must have experience in carrying out all aspect of project building surveying roles from inception to handover.
