A leading international consultancy with an annual Group turnover in excess of £200 million are seeking an Account Leader to within a number of different Water Sectors.
The role will involve working closely with existing clients and enhance the relationships and service delivery. The chosen individual will be responsible for developing a number of different sectors which will include the management of clients and the development of a sustainable business team in Ireland
The consultancy typically provides commercial services including, offering procurement advice, estimating, managing the tender assessment process, negotiating target costs with Contractors, input into the Risk & Value management processes, benchmarking and post contract cost management. Their strategy is to expand the service offering to encompass all services associated the asset life cycle.
Responsibilities
• Client account management and development • Responsible for planning and managing the delivery of the cost management elements of projects • Assist in providing best practice and continuous improvement within delivery teams • To actively network and represent the consultancy in the regional market, to support the development and positioning • To manage service delivery • To manage the general satisfaction and well being of team members • To lead the results orientated service delivery to ensure the solution meets clients’ objectives Skills / Experience Required
• Capable of working on their own initiative, with minimal supervision • Ability to manage small commercial team within overall commercial management process • Resource planning and communication. • Substantial proven experience in infrastructure is essential, preferably with either network or process experience • Candidates with water experience would be ideal. However, any good infrastructure experience may suffice with Actual Cost/Target Cost contract experience in a Partnering environment • Knowledge of the NEC forms of contract would be beneficial • Ideally degree qualified • Ideally MRICS or InstCES
