A leading worldwide Cost and Project Management Consultancy require an enthusiastic, dynamic, creative and client facing Associate.
The individual will be required to attend client meetings at very early stages of projects, pitch for new business, carry out high level feasibility studies on £100m-300m+ projects working within the commercial development team and on such projects as Sports Stadia, Large Overseas Hotels, Science and Research facilities and some smaller MOD projects.
Responsibilities:
• Leading and delivering in all aspects of quantity surveying from cradle to grave.
• Handling a number of complex projects at the same time.
• Achieving the highest standards of professional competence and demonstrating this to all clients and professional contacts.
• To achieve the highest standards of excellence in all areas of Technical expertise.
• To recognised suitable marketing opportunities and follow up potential leads enabling the development of new business.
• Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients, increasing the profile of the firm.
• Playing an integral part in the development of sector specialisms.
• Assisting partners in the development of the project team.
• Assisting in coaching and appraising of team members and acting as an APC mentor.
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years plus chartered status or up to 7 years relevant cost management
• experience.
• Ideally a degree in a “built environment” subject and/ or a relevant professional qualification (MRICS, MAPM, MICE, MCIOB)
