We are a recruitment agency and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Reliability Consultant.
The role will be based within our client's Consultancy Services which provides specialist services to the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, nuclear, pharmaceutical, water and power sectors in the following areas:
Compliance with safety, health and environmental legislation Process safety and risk assessment Environmental assessment and land contamination Reliability assessment aimed at predicting and improving equipment and plant performance Plant and equipment optimisation aimed at extending asset life and increasing efficiency and throughput. Our multi-disciplined engineers have experience across a range of industries, with previous experience in both regulatory and operator environments. Clients receive the benefit of our track record in the practical application of techniques to identify, assess and implement effective solutions.
The role of Reliability Consultant
This is a combined commercial and technical role in an established risk management and reliability business.
Developing existing and new client relationships to meet business requirements. Scope consultancy projects and prepare commercial proposals Provide expert technical support and guidance to capital projects To manage, assess, deliver, monitor projects and consultancy in the following areas: Reliability, Availability, Maintainability assessments Reliability engineering Fault tree analysis Failure mode and effect analysis Systems assurance Develop personal technical competence Deliver technical papers at national and international conferences Job requirements Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Degree qualified preferably in an engineering discipline Minimum of 7 years experience in experience of reliability engineering projects within a commercial environment Reliability engineering experience: Availability and reliability assessments, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Systems Assurance, FMEA, operational research, discrete event simulation Knowledge of the following software packages an advantage: FT+, RAM, RAMP4, Experience of delivering technical presentations and commercial negotiations.
Process industry experience is preferred but not essential, candidates working within the electronics / aviation / defence / nuclear sectors are welcome to apply.
