Project Manager - Liverpool 
One of the fastest growing construction consultancies in the country, our client has UK offices in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne.
Their portfolio of Clients is extensive and spans a wide range of sectors including Education, Financial, Transport, Residential, Insurance, Local Authority and Arts & Leisure.
This company were ranked number 13 in the list of Top 30 Quantity Surveying firms announced by QS Week for the year to December 2007.  They also received the title 'Building Good Employer 2007' in October, having been selected by Building Magazine as one of the Top Employers within the construction industry.


Due to continued expansion the practice are looking for x2 Project Managers from an Engineering or Building Services background.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a major £70m project, ensuring that the project satisfies appropriate quality standards, delivered on time and within budget.
Main duties will include:

1. Establish brief with client and design team
2. Establish and maintain the project handbook, project execution plan and
procedures manual
3. Lead and manage project procurement, delivery and commissioning
4. Liaise with key stakeholders
5. Control all project budgets including consultants fees
6. Lead and manage the production of project documentation
7. Advise on construction/contract/cost aspects of building work.
8. Prepare general reports and recommendations to clients
9. Advise on procurement and programme issues
10. Develop feasibility studies
11. Identify appropriate consultants and set up design/project delivery teams
12. Identify and resolve project issues
13. Establish and maintain project risk registers
14. Manage submission and negotiations of proposals to local authorities and local
planning authorities.
15. Manage the preparation of and prepare tender and contract documents.
16. Undertake contract administration, valuation and certification.
17. Negotiate contracts with contractors
18. Implement project change control
19. Ensure compliance with quality management principles and processes
20. Produce standard documents
21. Prepare and present client presentations
22. Other duties as may be reasonably required
