The Nuclear and Process Division, is looking for a talented Project manager or a Technical Civil / Structural or Architect who wishes to go into Project Management to form part of a multi-disciplinary team to work within the Pharmaceutical sector of the business.
Job Description The Project manager will provide a comprehensive, accurate and cost effective project management service for clients in the Pharmaceutical sector and will be reporting to the Project Director. You will be working on one particullar, presigious, highly desirable project managing a team of 40/50 Architects and Civil/structural engineers, so this may suit a senior engineer from Civil/structural or an Architectural background wishing to expand into Project management, but still an able technical engineer.. They will be responsible for the delivery of project portfolios, specific projects or sub projects. They may be seconded into a client or Alliance type environment. They will often deputise for the Project Director. Specific duties will be tailored to the project requirements but the summary of responsibilities will be: Successful delivery of projects to time, quality and budget Contribute to open communications across the project delivery/client teams Establish effective communications across the project delivery, client and stakeholder teams Ability to manage multi-disciplinary design teams
Candidate Specification The ideal candidate with demonstrate: Substantial Project Management expertise across a wide range of disciplines, contract/procurement routes and market sectors Technical experience in Design in Civil structural or Architectural Engineering disciplines Substantial experience of managing and leading large project teams to successful outcomes Strong client and stakeholder relationship building skills Effective communication, with clients, user groups, project team and business manager High degree of commercial acumen and knowledge of planning and project controls Demonstrable track record of successful business development and achievement of targets Ability to create an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment Degree in related technical or management subject Professional qualification from recognised Project Management or similar body Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of qualification Experienced in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and R+D sector
