M&E Project Manager
Our client are a leading Building Services Contractor who specialise in Mechanical, Electrical Installation & Maintenance. They operate their services across the commercial and industrial sectors and deal with many blue chip organisation.
Their operation in Greater Manchester has enjoyed fantastic success and growth, and they are currently looking to expand their project team with an experienced M&E Project Manager to head up a prestigious 3 year contract in Manchester City Centre.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure that all aspects of the M & E projects are fully defined
Develop and maintain project plans and budgets that will deliver to customer and business needs
Lead, control and monitor projects
Ensure that projects adhere to all policies and procedures
Manage assigned relationships with major suppliers and sub-contractors
Ensure the project team possesses the required resources and capabilities to effectively deliver the project in line with all requirements.
Lead, develop and motivate assigned staff to ensure they are aware of and capable of meeting their accountabilities.
Liaise with all functions relevant to the delivery of assigned projects to build an integrated project team and to enable the achievement of project objectives.
Manage a supply chain comprising both internal and external specialists
Manage team planning, risk management, quality and safety to ensure the effective functioning of the team
Ensure that the commercial, financial and legislative requirements of your Projects are met.
In order to successfully discharge these responsibilities you will be expected to plan and manage your work and that of your team to meet challenging deadlines.
Person Specification
You will need to have proven experience in the management of M&E projects with a predominant Mechanical background. You will have hands on familiarity with sophisticated PM approaches. A HNC or HND in a related disipline is a pre-requisite.
