Our client is a leading company in the oil, gas and nuclear sectors. We are seek Project Engineers to join the growing team in Manchester. The successful candidate will;
Plans, schedules and coordinates the engineering and Design activities on a specific project.
Ensures that the Engineering Execution plan is developed and agreed and is reflective of the overall project execution strategy.
Ensures that all Engineers fully understand the detailed scope, budget and programme requirements of the project.
Ensures that all Engineers fully understand the technical requirements in terms of the Engineering & Design basis.
Ensures that Engineering resource requirements are identified to allow execution of projects in accordance with the project requirements.
Co-ordinates multi-discipline Engineering and Design interfaces
Monitors and manages Engineering man-hour and capital expenditure to ensure delivery of Engineering & Design to the project budget.
Consults with Project Manager and other experts concerning unusual problems. Suggests, justifies, and implements work process improvements and creative solutions for problems.
A degree in one of the basic engineering disciplines (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Civil) or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer, or working towards
Experience in the field of engineering and managing a multi-discipline design and having relevant project engineering experience.
