Title: Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer
Salary: £35k- negotiable
Location: North West or North East (Middlesbrough, Warrington)
Start date: asap
Our client, a system integrator with the offices in North East and North West of England requires a Project Engineers to do Design, development and implementation of projects using a variety of manufacturers PLC / SCADA solutions on a variety of projects.
Skills
Required:
PLC/SCADA knowledge/experience (e.g. Siemens S7/300, S7/400, S5, Allen Bradley SLC500, PLC5, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, WinCC, InTouch, Ifix)
Ability to lead a team of junior engineers on a day to day basis to ensure that projects are delivered in time, under budget
The ability to be able to work autonomously on smaller projects or as part of a team on larger projects
Ability to work on customers sites on their own
Good documentation & communication skills are essential for this role.
Have any of the additional skills:
DCS systems, Knowledge of Profibus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet / ControlNet and EtherNet
Confidence in the use of PC based office systems preferably Microsoft Office suite and MS Project would benefit
The candidate will be expected to produce project documentation suite such as design documentation and test specifications and expected to review documents produced by junior engineers.
