Our client is a leading global provider of consulting, engineering, construction and management services in water, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors. They have planned, designed, built and managed many of the world's largest and most technologically advanced projects and programmes, and have been recognized with top industry rankings and awards.

They are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join the Financial Service Centre based in Warrington. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller.

The post holder will take responsibility for the internal flow of financial information for management purposes. They will work closely with the Business Unit Directors, Senior Project Managers, Senior Operations staff and all Finance Staff.

Principal responsibilities for the role will include:
•Responsibility for the preparation and analysis of monthly management reports for UK, EMEAI & Global management.
•Responsible for the review of individual business unit results, investigating and understanding variances against budget/forecast identifying areas of concern with recommendations for remediation.
•Prepare billed and unbilled debtors summaries by Business Unit.
•Summarise, explain and report on month end revenue accruals.
•Manage the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for specific fee earning business units building relationships and providing support to the Business Unit Directors to develop their BU budgets and forecasts.
•Drive the consolidation of ESC budget and forecast data
•Preparation of BSG monthly reporting and commentary
•Preparation and completion of monthly tasks as required to achieve the month end close process and ensure their accuracy
•Respond to management queries as required providing advice and remediation where applicable
•Ad hoc investigations and assignments as necessary.
•Liaise with other finance staff as required.
•Provide relevant support to internal/external auditors and senior operations staff.

To be successfull in this role you will have extensive experience of monthly management reporting and business analysis.

You should be CIMA part qualified or have an equivalent level relevant qualification.

Excellent computer skills particularly Excel are essential. Knowledge of JD Edwards / E1 systems is preferred while VBA experience would be an advantage.
