Our client is a leading construction services Plc with clients in the utility and facilities sectors. In addition to this they also work with local authority providing repair, maintenance and capital investment services.
We are now seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to work within the Civil Engineering division based at various locations; Warrington, Rochdale and Wolvey in Leicestershire. You will be supporting sites across the UK.
You will be responsible for the measurement and valuation of a series of packages (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts; agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates; procurement of specialist sub-contractors and assisting buying department in procurement of domestic sub-contractors; and preparation of financial reports. You will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor for the project.
You should also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
