The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and cost effective value added support to the Procurement Manager and in-house user groups within UK Operations.
The Role
* Ensuring compliance to all procurement policies and procedures as appropriate. Thus ensuring an efficient and auditable procurement trail.
* Working with the relevant Project Procurement Managers in developing and implementing procurement strategies/project execution plans for each Project, to ensure the best procurement practice and potential gains to the company.
* To provide an efficient and cost effective Procurement support, providing timely value added solutions to Procurement opportunities to meet the requirements of the Project or Proposal within the allocated procurement team budget allowances.
The Applicant will have
* HNC Business Studies or HNC Mechanical Engineering and/or Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
* Sufficient and appropriate experience in Procurement Function
* Significant and appropriate experience in Mechanical & Process Industry Sectors
