Our Client has a position for a Head of Power Services to join the Project Services Business Unit in Warrington. Reporting to the Director of Project Services the successful candidate will build a successful power division based upon project and programme management services and develop new contacts, nurture existing contacts and work with own contacts to gain business.
The successful candidate will be known as a 'thought leader' in the various power areas and in conjunction with others support the further development of project management tools and systems relevant to the power sector. Our Clients have an advanced Project Delivery System (PDS) and various tools including mPRISM and mPROVE.
The successful candidate will produce annual business plans and budgets as part of the Project Services Business Unit and achieve revenue and profitability targets. You will also need to ensure delivery of a quality product and achieve client service excellence.
To be successful in this role you will need strong experience within the power sector either with a client, contractor or consultancy. You will have experience of working on multi million pound infrastructure projects and have excellent client contacts within the industry.
You will have a proven track record of developing business. This role may require travel as while work at the moment is based in the UK, it may extend across other areas in Europe, Middle East and India
