Our client a major supplier op the Process and Energy industries have a requirement for Civil Structural Design Engineers successful individuals will be qualified to a minimum – HND in Civil Engineering
Experience Required:
Experience in steelwork design/detailing
Knowledge of concrete and drainage design/detailing
Must be computer literate
Experience in use of Propriety computer CAD software
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Designers to support Principal Designers & the Department Manager implement project work in accordance with project and departmental strategies.
Identify and solve engineering problems
Assist in the production of quantity estimates
Able to instruct trainees
Prepare and check drawings in accordance with company procedures
Use AutoCAD and Multisuite software
Survey & Inspection of existing structures
Installation of new plant within existing structures/foundations
Containment Bunding of existing tanks & equipment
Record all decisions and communicate to team, Departmental Manager and Lead Engineer. Demonstrate good communication and listening skills. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Must be able to travel to meet business needs. Clean driving license required.
