Structural Engineer needed for Wigan
Our client are Civil & Structural Engineering Consultants with over 30 years experience in solving unusual technical problems especially those associated with nuclear, marine and defence establishments as well as traditional commercial and industrial projects.
They work closely with their clients helping to establish their requirements, examining options, carrying out feasibility studies, site inspections, preparing outline design proposals and of course working drawings and specifications.

Your Role:
Undertake detailed engineering design
Prepare technical schedules
Represent the company at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
Ensure that appropriate service/design decisions are met.
Coordinating his/her work with other members of the project team.
Ensuring all relevant staff are informed of client matters.
Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s and our best interests and that our policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
Educational Requirements
Hopefully you will have a BEng or MEng degree or equivalent and some relevant structural Engineering experience.
