Structural Director needed for Wigan
Our client are Civil & Structural Engineering Consultants with over 30 years experience in solving unusual technical problems especially those associated with nuclear, marine and defence establishments as well as traditional commercial and industrial projects.
They work closely with their clients helping to establish their requirements, examining options, carrying out feasibility studies, site inspections, preparing outline design proposals and of course working drawings and specifications.

We are looking for a Structural/Civil director to work on numerous new commissions within the commercial sector.
The role:
Run a multi-discipline team of engineers within the Group
Lead multi-discipline projects on behalf of the group
Prepare and take responsibility for project engineering solutions
Develop own Client relationships and secure repeat work where possible
Prepare Financial and Technical proposals
Reporting to the Board
Reviews job financial performance and adjust resources accordingly
Contribute to the Group initiatives with respect to technical development / market sectors and processes
Take responsibility for management of people, client and commercial issues according to the needs of the Business
Will be involved in the £20million redevelopment of Sheffield
Requirements
Ideally Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer, Candidates will need to have consultancy experience and hopefully have associate level experience.
Hopefully you would have relevant engineering degree and corporate membership of a recognized engineering institution.
High technical competence and management experience essential.
Substantial experience in various types of Structural/Civil projects
