My client is a well-established building services design consultancy having started out as a small business and worked hard to establish a prime position in a competitive market where they have now joined forces with another established consultancy.
My client draws on extensive experience and expertise in M&E services in order to help their clients achieve their aims. are a multi branch organisation, with branches in London, Birmingham, Corby, and Cambridge and here in Stockport, this client is a medium sized.
The vacancy is for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to bring their career forward by making a move into management. They will be joining an established team working in management and heading up the technical side of the Mechanical Design Department, with the aim to progress into a senior management role.

Construction Projects include Commercial, Education, Energy including CHP, Health Care, Historic Buildings/Conservation, Industrial, Leisure, Religious, Residential, Retail.
The Principal Mechanical Engineer will serve as a representative of the firm both internally and externally. This role may expand into the Associate's responsibilities, as the candidate will take on broader aspects of business management as well as development and oversight of training activities and issues pertaining to the team, client and project.
He or she will also prepare drawings detailing the designed system and prepare system.
