Our client is seeking to employ a Mechanical Design Engineer to work within a Universities Technical Services Estates department. As Mechanical Engineer you will carry out preparation of specifications and detailed design to all mechanical services across a wide range of property types including laboratories. Accommodation blocks, lecture theatres and sport facilities. This will include all HVAC, hot and gold water boiler rooms and associated mechanical services. As a Snr Mechanical Design Engineer you will have between at least 5 years experience in mechanical design within either the private of public sector and be qualified to a minimum HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. The ability to use AutoCAD and Hecatomb would also be an advantage although is not essential.
