Lead Mechanical Engineer

Salary: 40-48000 GBP
A leading international design consultant is looking to appoint a Lead Mechanical Engineer to work on a series of major upcoming projects for Northumbrian Water and United Utilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious and experienced Mechanical Engineers to lead a team of eight other Engineers within their Integrated Design Team. Leading candidates should possess a strong understanding of both Clean Water and Wastewater processes, including knowledge of typical equipment used on works of varying sizes. Experience of designing Pumping Stations would also be extremely useful.
Top applicants must also be able to manage the production of Project Documentation, which includes Engineering Specifications, Data Sheets, and Layout Drawings for Water Industry projects including both Water and Wastewater Treatment Works. It will also be essential for successful candidates to demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and the design team.
