A 1st Class Certificate of Competency is preferred and Tanker experience would be an advantage, although experienced Marine Engineers candidates are being sought, for the right person this is also an opportunity for those not so qualified seafarers to develop a career fro which training will be given.
The post will involve travel in the UK and overseas.
As Technical Superintendent (Marine Engineer) the post holder will be part of a team with responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a modern Fleet of vessels and you would be expected to have the capability of managing repair and other specialised projects.
