Maintenance Engineer – Middlewich - £28,300+o/t + benefits (25 days hol + 8 stats)
Our client is recognized globally as a market leader in the provision of highest quality and efficient Materials Handling and sortation solutions for a diverse range of applications, and as a result of a recent positive restructuring exercise and an ongoing planned programme of continuous strategic growth, an urgent need has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and highly capable Site Maintenance Engineer to compliment their existing team of engineering professionals.
Working on a rotating shift pattern (week of mornings, afternoons and nights), the successful candidate will report directly to the Site Supervisor and be wholly responsible for the reactive and planned preventative maintenance within a busy distribution centre environment. You will be tasked with a range of electrically biased, multidiscipline reactive and preventative maintenance operations, as required at the Middlewich Distribution Centre, and will carry out the Preventive Service Maintenance and repair of customer’s site equipment and other manufacturer’s products and systems, in full response to customer’s requirements.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity offering genuine stability and career progression opportunities, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills as customer liaison is an essential part of the role, will be able to adhere to all Health and Safety Requirements and will complete associated job sheets, service schedule tick sheets and any other quality records as and when required, in addition to providing assistance in the installation and commissioning of any machines whilst working as part of a team of four site engineers.
The successful candidate will ideally be working on Plant and Equipment currently within a busy maintenance environment, and will demonstrate experience of working with Materials Handling Equipment and Automatic process equipment with a solid understanding of mechanical principles. You will be electrically Time Served and have multi-skilled experience, AC, DC Controls with experience of hydraulics and pneumatics and mechanics.
