Your Role as a trainee Sales engineer
satisfying customer needs for response time Quality of technical support for own quotes / orders Management of own quotes Developing base and large business in region Minimise complaints and negative feedback
Main Tasks - Regional Huntline Management.
Fast response to incoming regional calls Preparation of quotes with good prequalification Follow up of quotes generated by self. Stay with the quote Liaise with FSE and book appointment at optimum time in life of quote Manage low level opportunities and coordinate resource and how we respond “own and manage” all customer issues Liaise with Named Account engineers to hand over information on large projects High quality customer liaison during quote phase
Ideal candidate will hopefully have been educated with technical degree (2.2 or better) - Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation / Physics / other technical degree or have equivalent technical apprentiship.
Good communication skills and telephone manner Must be able to listen to a customer’s problem and propose a technical solution.
Must be able to multi-task.
Some work experience in the process industry / engineering based would be preferred but not essential or alternatively experience in selling / dealing with the public would be helpful.
