Electrical Design Engineer
Our client is a leading electrical engineering solutions company, providing a one-stop-shop for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of bespoke electrical control and instrumentation systems. Based in the North West, They serve a UK wide customer base, including many large blue chip organisations, across a range of market sectors.
Their capabilities, which span the entire project life cycle from design through to ongoing maintenance, are underpinned by their four core principles of customer service, project management, quality and safety.
Their automation activity encompasses design, build and integration of a broad range of EC&I solutions, incorporating medium to large AC and DC drives. The engineering team includes specialist software engineers with expertise in SCADA and enterprise network capability, and we work closely with a number of system manufacturers. Our manufacturing facility includes one of the largest panel building workshops in the North West.
The Role
We are currently seeking an electrical engineering professional with a broad span of controls and automation experience to join our Nuclear division. This division provides electrical engineering solutions to customers in the nuclear sector.
The ideal candidate will have
a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering
a strong background in designing and building distribution boards, MCCs, control panels and cabling systems
a broader exposure to PLC and SCADA systems
a good working knowledge of one or more CAD packages
experience of on-site commissioning
a positive team working attitude
Salary £28000 - £34000 plus
