Testing and Inspection Supervisors
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To be responsible for the production efficiency of operational staff, incorporating the allocation of maintenance tasks and monitoring on site work organisation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Liaise with Customers Ensure compliance with programmed work and Company procedures To ensure prompt response to breakdown call-outs by Clients is undertaken by operational staff as appropriate To ensure that all staff are fully aware of safety procedures Responsible for the maintenance, security and regular checking of the area held company materials and equipment To maintain regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of Company equipment To ensure maintenance activities are entered on appropriate documentation for record keeping Programming engineers to complete works on time To achieve KPIs as set by Line Management Deputise for Area Manager in their absence
MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal - Area Manager, General Manager and other Dalkia staff. External - Customer and customer’s staff.
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:
Compliance with statutory and company health and safety regulations Demonstrable experience of safe practices at work Experience of effective team management Strong customer care focus in order to ensure the Client’s needs are fully met Ability to generate, develop and present ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practices Full driving licence
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES:
NICEIC qualified
SKILLS City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2 City and Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing preferable
