We are looking for a Fleet Personnel Manager ideally with past experience of management, tankers and marine personnel.
The Fleet Personnel Manager (Tankers/marine) should possess excellent all-round communication skills and have a reliable and flexible approach couple with the ability to work under pressure and to interact with staff and customers at all levels.
The position of Fleet Personnel Manager (Tankers/marine) will include some travel and candidates should possess a current driving licence
Previous experience in the marine/tankers type of working environment would be an advantage but some initial training is available
The Fleet Personnel Manager will be responsible to the HR Director and the successful candidate will be expected to ensure continuing and successful crew management of a fleet of tankers to meet chartering and EMSA requirements.
This includes future manpower resource and planning; the performance management of recruitment agents and the crewing team; budget responsibility; statutory and / or flag manning schedules and the continuance of offshore employment arrangements.
