Title: Commissioning & Site Support Engineer
Location: Cheshire/North-West
Salary: £35k+ OTE + car
Our client specializes in Control and Instrumentation Systems. They are currently looking for Commissioning and Support Engineer who will be responsible for the provision of high level technical support and assistance to clients by means of on site visits, both UK and Worldwide for the purposes of commissioning, modifying, upgrading and maintaining process controls systems predominantly for safety applications. Typical industry sectors are oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, pharmaceutical and nuclear processing.
Skills Required:
HNC / BTEC electrical or electronic qualification
Controls and Instrumentation background.
Previous experience working in a safety and controls system based environment
Systems design experience
Fault finding / diagnostic skills
Good communication skills
Valid UK driving licence
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Working with clients to provide modification/maintenance and repair for existing process control systems/ESD/HIPPS/Fire & Gas/Burner Management. In time we envisage the post-holder will be sufficiently skilled to repair, modify and maintain automation / control systems.
