Test Environments encompasses a wide range of test engineering capabilities including Systems testing, Structures testing, wind tunnel testing, Design, Manufacture and commissioning of Avionic rigs, along with Production & Development (P&D) Test support activities to flying aircraft.

It requires engineers with a broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical and systems engineering principles including knowledge of software specification, design and application and an appreciation of the testing requirements within the product lifecycle. A number of roles are available in one of the following testing areas; P&D test, Test Systems Solutions, Avionic Rigs and Flight Test Instrumentation at Warton, Lancashire.

The roles will require the application of systems and test engineering expertise in the definition through commissioning and support of test facilities for the qualification and verification of Military Air Solutions products.

You will normally have a HNC/HND or degree qualification in a technical or scientific subject. However equivalent professional qualifications in terms of formal education and additional relevant knowledge, experience and product or process expertise can offset the normal qualification requirements.
