Senior EIA Consultant A client who is an International multi-discipline consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior EIA Consultant. The successful candidate will join the expanding Environmental Management and Resources team at the head office. They will have a proven track record in delivering SEA and EIA and managing a small/medium sized specialist team. The role will include responsibility for managing Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisals, involving the co-ordination of specialist inputs and overseeing the duties of consultant staff. A key element of this role will be to understand the changing market and adapting the skill sets to respond to client requirements. The candidate will also support the Associate in the EIA team in their delivery of EIA/Environmental Statements, coordinating specialist input and providing a client facing role on major projects. The candidate will be expected to liaise with clients proactively and produce project winning tenders and proposals. They will have a proven track record in delivering SEA and EIA and managing a small/medium sized specialist team. The role will include responsibility for managing Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisals, involving the co-ordination of specialist inputs and overseeing the duties of consultant staff. A key element of this role will be to understand the changing market and adapting the skill sets to respond to client requirements. The candidate will also support the Associate in the EIA team in their delivery of EIA/Environmental Statements, coordinating specialist input and providing a client facing role on major projects. The candidate will be expected to liaise with clients proactively and produce project winning tenders and proposals. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and ideally a Master's or other post-graduate degree (or similar). The successful candidate will need to be well organised with strong project management skills and will have an understanding of the commercial environment. The post requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication and inter-personal skills. Candidate should have the following Experience: •Experience in SEA/SA and EIA •Experience in at least one other EIA disciplines; •Experience of leading teams and co-ordinating the work of specialists.
