A major multi disciplinary consultancy in Cheshire is looking to recruit a Senior EIA Consultant to manage the production of EIAs and SAs for a range of environmental and planning projects for high profile government and private clients.
Specific duties will include:
• Business Development of environmental assessment capabilities
• Client liaison with major infrastructure providers / groups (government and private)
• Staff supervision.
• Bidding and marketing (although this is not a major requirement).
You will have an M.Sc or equivalent in a relevant discipline, a B.Sc or BA in an appropriate subject and membership of a recognised institute such as IEMA, CIWEM, IEEM, etc.
You will also have good environmental consultancy experience (or similar), preferably have project management skills (of EIA), knowledge of DMRB (Environmental Assessment) and other best practice EIA guidance, the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage subconsultants and have knowledge of the UK planning system.
Client liaison and public exhibition / inquiry experience would be beneficial.
You will be a team player with excellent communication skills.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £33 - 38,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
